EXCITING NEW FESTIVAL LAUNCHES THIS SUMMER AT HEDINGHAM CASTLE
This summer will see the launch of a new art and culture festival called EA Festival taking place on 31 July and 1 August at Hedingham Castle. Over the span of two days, audiences will be treated to a rich and varied program which includes many well-known personalities in media, art, literature, poetry, environmentalism and music including Susie Dent (Countdown's living dictionary), John Lloyd (creator of QI, Black Adder and Spitting Image), Evelyn Glennie (the legendary percussionist), William Sieghart (poetry advocate and founder of National Poetry Day) and Charles Saumarez Smith (former director of both the Royal Academy of Arts and the National Gallery). In addition, the Keep at Hedingham Castle will contain an art exhibition and retail marketplace featuring brands, artists, crafts and regional foodstuffs from East Anglia.
