Coronavirus (COVID-19) update
We never thought we would be encouraging you to NOT visit the Braintree district, but it is really important that we continue to stay alert, to keep everyone safe and to keep supporting the NHS.
We know it is a difficult time and we can’t do some of the usual activities we love, such as trips away with friends and adventures across the country and our district.
We look forward to welcoming visitors to our district in future, and for now we’ll be using our Facebook and Instagram channels to share some historic facts about our district, as well as fun virtual tours and talks from our local businesses.
We also want to virtually reflect on all the things we love about #OurBraintreeDistrict - we’d love you to get involved by sharing photos you’ve previously taken that showcase the very best of our district using #OurBraintreeDistrict. Whether it’s a stunning sunset, a great selfie you captured at your favourite event or a nod to the district’s history and culture, we want to see what it is you love and miss about the Braintree district.
We hope these little slices of our district can shine some light into your home until we can all get back to enjoying the real thing.
