VE Day 75

May 2020 marks the 75th anniversary of VE Day – the official end of World War II in Europe.

The early May bank holiday will move from Monday 4 to Friday 8 May. Events will take place around the country on the three-day weekend, to commemorate everybody who contributed to the war effort.
